1:1 Parent Support
You spend so much time making sure your child is supported. What about you?
Parenting a child with challenging behavior or higher support needs can feel incredibly isolating—even when you're surrounded by people who care.
Willow gives you a private space to talk about what's hard, sort through what you're carrying, and feel more grounded and confident moving forward.
Your child is your world. And this can still be really hard.
Maybe...
You replay difficult moments and wonder if you handled them “right.”
You feel like everyone has advice about what you should be doing
Your child's behavior affects where you go, what you do, or how you plan your day
You're exhausted from constantly thinking three steps ahead.
You feel guilty admitting how frustrated, angry, embarrassed, worried, or overwhelmed you sometimes feel.
Your child has an entire team—and somehow you still feel alone.
You don't need another person judging how you're parenting. And you don't need to pretend the hard parts aren't hard.
So much support focuses on the child.
Therapy goals. Behavior plans. IEPs. Appointments. Recommendations. Strategies to practice at home.
Those things can matter.
But you're a person in this, too.
You're the one trying to remember the recommendations when everyone is overwhelmed.
You're the one making decisions when there isn't an obvious right answer.
You're the one carrying the worry after the hard moment is over.
And sometimes you need support that isn't about what your child needs to work on next.
Sometimes you need someone to ask: How are you doing in all of this?
This hour is for you.
You don't need to prepare a behavior log or come knowing exactly what you need.
Bring what's feeling hardest right now.
Together, we'll create space to talk honestly about what's happening, untangle some of what you're carrying, identify what's within your control, and help you get clearer about how you want to move forward.
We will move through a four part process
BE HEARD- UNTANGLE - REFOCUS -MOVE FORWARD
Be Heard — Start with what's actually hard right now.
Untangle — Sort through the pressure, guilt, expectations, conflicting advice, uncertainty, or whatever is making it heavier.
Refocus — Identify what matters to you and what's actually within your control.
Move Forward — Leave with a clearer sense of what you want to carry forward into the next hard moment.
This isn't another behavior plan.
1:1 Parent Support focuses on you and your experience as a parent.
It isn't an assessment or treatment of your child's behavior and doesn't replace your child's existing clinical, educational, medical, or mental-health providers.
If what you're describing sounds like it needs individualized assessment or treatment for your child, I'll be transparent about that rather than trying to solve something virtually that requires more direct support.
You shouldn't have to explain this world before you can talk about how it affects you.
I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with years of experience helping children and families understand behavior, build skills, and problem-solve when things don't go according to plan.
I've spent years working alongside children and families experiencing challenging behavior and higher support needs.
I understand that “challenging behavior” can mean much more than an inconvenient tantrum.
I understand treatment teams, parent training, IEPs, communication differences, behavior plans, therapies, and the enormous amount parents can be asked to carry.
My role at Willow isn't to become another person telling you how to parent your child. It's to make sure there's space for you in the conversation, too.
